While feedlot cows are often fed grains and cheap fillers to help them bulk up fast, our cows live on pasture. Because our cows eat what cows have naturally consumed for thousands of years and mature at a natural rate, the meat has a higher nutrient density and contains levels of Omega-3s similar to fish.
For an example, for half of a steer, or around 200lbs of meat, you will need 8-10 cubic feet of space, or 1 cubic foot for every 28lbs of meat. So, for a quarter steer, you would need roughly 4-6 cubic feet, and for a whole, 16-20 cubic feet (give or take).
